Kelli DeBellis

 

Kelli DeBellis is an experienced Practice Technology Trainer with Hunton and Williams.  She has a demonstrated history of providing excellence in coaching, instructional design and delivery, facilitation, eLearning development, and more.  A passion to always learn, improve, and evolve both for those she works with and herself is evident.  Her non-traditional background allows her to build out-of-the box ideas into powerful solutions for personal and professional development.

Zandra Rawlinson

 

Zandra D. Rawlinson, Ed.D. has more than 20 years of experience in the field of training and organization development. She has extensive experience in the areas of instructional design, facilitation, organizational change, and program development. She finds leading people in the learning process is very a rewarding experience.

Dr. Rawlinson has led a variety of classes and workshops in the areas of customer service, communications, conflict resolution, personality assessment, and mentoring. She has a passion for serving as a vehicle to educate, to teach, and to inspire others to gain the knowledge and wisdom they need to elevate their lives.

Currently, Dr. Rawlinson works as a learning and development professional with Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) Human Resources. She holds a Doctorate Degree in Leadership and a Master’s Degree in Adult Education both from VCU.

Joanne Even


Joanne has 20+ years of experience in business, marketing communications, and adult learning that she draws on when working with her clients. Working with the Executive Education group at the University of Richmond, Robins School of Business, she offers a practical approach to creating meaningful learning experiences,  and she enjoys working with management teams to help them solve the workplace challenges that keep them up at night.

Joanne's professional experience includes training, project management, and marketing roles in a variety of industries including financial services, management consulting, healthcare, state and local government, and human services.  In addition to her Board position with Greater Richmond ATD, she is on the Board of the Metropolitan Business League and an active volunteer with Southeastern Virginia Golden Retriever Rescue, Education, and Training. 

Joanne earned her B.A. in Politics from Washington & Lee University and her M.Ed. in Adult Learning from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Kevin comes to the Board with over 15 years of management experience with a passion for Training and Development. For the past 10 years, Kevin has had the opportunity to work as a Senior Manager for CarMax in the roles of mentor, facilitator and trainer.  He recently moved to the Richmond area to join the Talent Management group at CarMax as the Principal Leader. 

Kevin holds Masters’ degrees in  Business Administration and Human Resource Management.

Sandra (Hughes) Smith

Sandra Smith

 

Sandra brings over twenty years of teaching, training, coaching, instructional design, technical writing, content development, and editing experience with her to our Board.  Sandra is a former chemist and science teacher.  Presently she is the CEO of Cognicata -- a professional development organization that focuses on e-learning. In this role, she partners with Fortune 500 organizations and textbook publishers to provide personal and professional development.

Sandra has a BS in Biology and a minor in Chemistry.

Sonya Barham

 

Sonya Barham has a diverse background in her 25 years of experience at DuPont. She started out as an Employee Assistance Consultant. Then spent time as a Human Resources Consultant. Throughout her career she has been accountable for training, program development, career development, and team building as a certified DiSC®  facilitator. She is currently a Learning and Development Consultant overseeing leadership development for 85 line leaders. Sonya also manages exempt new hire onboarding.

Sonya holds Masters degrees in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University and Human Resource Management from the University of Richmond.

David Younce
 
  

David Younce is Regional Business Development Officer, AVP with Chesapeake Bank in the Richmond region. David brings more than 20 years of diverse experience in business leadership, organizational development, and financial industry expertise. In his current role, he is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with partners, and customers, both internal and externally. In addition to his direct responsibilities, David has been tasked with developing and implementing strategies, which have facilitated growth within his company. In that scope of responsibility, he and his team have been able to support the strategic plan for the company by translating business goals into successful actionable performance initiatives to ensure the skill set of his team.

Prior to joining the ATD, David served as Chair and Co-Founder of the Patterson Avenue Business Association, and the Powhatan Advisory Board; to oversee fundraising efforts and the organization of the local Christmas Parade. David has worked within a wide range of clients in Fortune 500 companies, in multiple locations within the United States.

Alicia Arrington
 


Alicia is a Career Consultant who joined Lee Hecht Harrison in 2016.  Her professional expertise is in operations management with line experience in human resources. She has led teams of up to 20 multi-disciplinary employees with accountability for seven figure client portfolios. She has extensive leadership experience in training, employee engagement, workforce development, P&L management, contract service management, and customer service.

 Alicia’s career was spent primarily in the hospitality industry working for a Fortune® 500 provider of global food, facilities, and uniform services to education, healthcare, business, sports, leisure, and corrections clients

 Alicia’s blended professional background also consists of tenures within Human Resources and Recruitment. Her leadership experience in these arenas included performance management programs, talent sourcing, coaching and development, as well as onboarding. Her customer base was comprised of clients in the pharmaceutical, housing, financial services, and tobacco industries. Alicia also serves as a SHRM Certified Professional and Notary Public for the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Lauren Phillip


Lauren is a driven and dedicated certified HR Professional and is currently the Principal Consultant at LP Consulting, having worked with various clients in the Caribbean.  She has been instrumental in implementing HR strategies, managing employee relations, developing HR policies and processes and establishing positive working relationships with all stakeholders.

She graduated with honors from the Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) and holds dual degrees in Human Resource Management and Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship. Lauren is an advocate for continuous learning and is currently in the final semester of the MEd. Program in Adult Learning at VCU.

Tom Coltrain

 

Tom Coltrain has been working in learning management system implementation and administration since 2014.  He has worked with a variety of clients in diverse industries consulting on human resources, training, strategy, software implementation, and project management.

Tom recently completed his first year of teaching night classes as an adjunct instructor for human resources and organizational behavior & leadership.  He enjoys providing guidance to students through application of learning to real-world work experiences.

Tom received a B.S. in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Masters in Human Resources Management from the University of Richmond.

Eleanor Jones
 
 

My two passions of adult development and nonprofit capacity building are perfectly intertwined in my current role overseeing the Learning Center at the Community Foundation in Richmond, Virginia.

I organize and facilitate learning opportunities for professionals across the nonprofit sector focusing on executive leaders, governance leaders, and nonprofit managers through an array of short workshops and intensive deep-dive programs throughout the year. I also participate in the Foundation’s high impact competitive grantmaking and scholarship processes.

Prior to joining the Community Foundation, I spent seven years at Virginia Commonwealth University in Community Engagement, creating learning opportunities across the state for adult learners of all types; from collaborative summer sessions for teachers across the USA with the Smithsonian Institution in DC to Spanish language classes for first responders in Richmond.

Angela Hutchinson

 
 

Angela has a Bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University in Business Management – Organizational Behavior. She is also a SHRM-CP certified professional. She is currently a Senior Learning Associate with Capital One, providing learning content based on internal customer needs. She has been in the field of HR & Development for over 20 years with a strong background working with the US military. She has spent more than 10 years as a military transition facilitator overseas in Okinawa and in the DC Metro area.  

While working in the wholesale and retail industries, she worked in curriculum development with expertise in LMS management, learning analytics, and eLearning development.  While Angela’s career spans a variety of industries, her focus has always been on serving her customer, internal and external. She is a people-focused professional with the desire to serve, connect with and develop people wherever she is part of a team.

Brandon Hagy
 

Brandon Hagy is the training coordinator at MGC Advanced Polymers, Inc. There, he is responsible for developing training programs, providing training, and improving operational effectiveness. Brandon enjoys using his passion for training to teach people how to skydive.

Previously, Brandon was a proud member of the U.S. Marine Corps where he served in Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, as well as other conflicts throughout the world.

Director of Communications




Since 2007, Katisha has served as the Training Coordinator and Course Developer for a private property management company that owns and operates thousands of residential units around Richmond and several other states. In her current role, she creates and conducts both live and online training courses. As a former Spanish Teacher at Tidewater Academy, Katisha was recognized as Teacher of the Year by the Sussex County Chamber of Commerce after her first year. Outside of the office, Katisha provides in-home tutoring to middle and high school students.

As a University of Virginia alumna and resident of Richmond for more than 30 years, Katisha is passionate about enjoying and giving back to the thriving local community. She is active in her church and volunteers with the Junior League of Richmond.  For the 2017-2018 League year, Katisha served as Chair for the committee that organizes the successful annual Touch a Truck fundraiser. Katisha is thrilled to continue her endeavors by supporting the Greater Richmond Chapter of the ATD.

Jennifer James


Jennifer has 15+ years of experience in business, human resources, and adult learning.  She currently works for the Virginia Community College System as a Human Resources Consultant.  Prior to her current role, she served as Senior Vice President/Director of Human Capital Development for two years within the financial services industry.  Jennifer exhibits strong leadership skills and a true passion for helping others grow and develop.  In addition, she is personally committed to continuous learning. 

Jennifer holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) Certification from the Human Resource Certification Institute and a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) Certification from the Society for Human Resources.  She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration degree with a minor in Human Resources from Mary Baldwin University and her Master in Business Administration degree with a concentration in Human Capital from Virginia Commonwealth University.  She is currently enrolled in Old Dominion University’s Community College Leadership Graduate Certificate program.



Director of Web Technology



George as more than twenty years of experience in Leadership, Coaching, Change Management, Instructional Systems Design, Technical Training Design, and Effective Communications.  He has diverse experience coaching senior executives, directors, and managers in a variety of organizations as they face various leadership, relationship, performance and communication challenges.

Prior to establishing Targeted Performance Group, George held various senior leadership positions for Merck & Co., Inc., creating and implementing global learning solutions for the organization.  Since then he has continued to focus on helping executives improve themselves, their teams, and their organizations. Working across various major industries on both a national and global scale, George has worked in both the public and private sectors.  He has served industries including healthcare, education, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, financial services, and government.

George received his Master of Education in Instructional Systems degree from Pennsylvania State University.  He obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from The Citadel, Military College of South Carolina before serving as a Training Officer in the U.S. Army Signal Corps.
