Liza Horan

Liza Horan’s mission is to make it easy for individuals and organizations to discover and express their unique propositions for greater impact. She does this through media, communications, research and digital strategy work as a strategy consultant and entrepreneur.

Her experience across editorial, digital and business strategy draws from 35+ years working for employers and clients including The New York Times Co., Reuters, ESPN, Informa, and American Express. Liza’s individual clients span all career levels -- from recent graduates to C-level leaders – who wish to position themselves as thought leaders to attract opportunities. She’s in the midst of writing a book on her four-step approach for individuals and organizations to achieve business goals through meaningful audience engagement.

Her personal interests and professional experience merged in 2017 when she founded Mindstream Ventures, a media company covering the mind-body-spirit movement for greater health and happiness.

Liza, who earned her B.A. in sociology with journalism at Mount St. Mary’s University and her M.S. in strategic communications from Columbia University, works remotely from Edinburgh, Scotland. LizaHoran.com

Power Your Professional Quest with Authenticity: An interactive workshop to refine your unique proposition for greater impact

Today’s professional landscape is increasingly powered by Artificial Intelligence, yet trust and relationships remain at the heart of business (and life!). So, how can we convey our own capabilities and human qualities in a way that appeals to both humanity and tech? By identifying our own key attributes and engaging with others – online and offline – from a place of service. This workshop guides you through practical theory and exercises of Liza’s four-step process to help you craft a strategy to achieve your professional objectives.

Bonus: The four-step process also works for companies and organizations. Participants in this workshop will learn how to distinguish themselves professionally for greater impact. It will draw on both sides of your brain.
