Session Description:

The Power of Perception

Facilitated by Dr. Ingram, this highly interactive and experiential session explores the critical role perception plays in shaping our reality, from our personal lives to our professional environments.

Understanding how perceptions are formed and how they influence our decisions, relationships, and behaviors is a powerful tool for growth and connection.

Key Takeaways:

  • Shaping Perceptions: What forces shape our perceptions? How have these forces influenced the way you view the world and yourself? In this session, we’ll examine the external and internal factors that impact the way we see everything—from people to situations.

  • Perceptions of Ourselves & Others: Our self-image and how we view others are deeply interconnected. Learn how perceptions influence how we perceive ourselves and how they shape our relationships. How might these perceptions be limiting, and how can we shift them to foster better connections?

  • Emotional Intelligence: Discover how our perceptions play a significant role in building trust and maintaining healthy relationships. We’ll explore how we communicate our feelings, understand others' emotions, and "see through someone else’s eyes," ultimately deepening our emotional intelligence and empathy.

  • Making Decisions: Perceptions impact decision-making, especially in team environments. How do our views influence the choices we make? How can we value differing perspectives while still making timely decisions that move teams forward?
