This program is a mentoring opportunity open to all GRATD members! Mentoring is a special partnership between professionals based on a shared commitment to the mentoring process and common goals. It is built on mutual trust and respect.

Mentoring can lead to career success for all parties involved, and we’re here to help you make your next connection!

The Process

1. Mentor Submission

a. If you are interested in becoming a mentor, complete the mentor application.

b. The MIG program managers will contact you regarding the next steps in getting your information onto the ATD member access section of the Richmond ATD website.

2. Mentor Onboarding

a. As a new mentor, you will participate in an onboarding session with the MIG program managers to review expectations, best practices, etc.

3. Mentee Submission

a. If you are interested in becoming a mentee, complete the mentee application.

4. Pairings made by MIG program managers

5. MIG program managers the first meeting with the mentor/mentee to review:

a. Program Overview

b. Expectations for both mentor and mentee

c. Duration

d. Mentor/Mentee Agreement recommendation

e. Feedback/Resources needed

6. MIG leaders conduct periodic check-ins based on the timing set by the mentor/mentee
